The Tripods: Part 2

Will's mother goes upstairs to find both boys missing.

I'm a zombie and I don't really care.
She finds a letter Will left her and can't comprehend why Will doesn't want to be capped.

Why wouldn't a teenage boy want to be just like his parents?
Will and Henry hide from the Tripod.

Kinda maybe sorta thinkin' that Tripod can still see you.
The boys worry that they've missed their shot at meeting up with the fake vagrant.

Nice job guys.
The hunting party of villagers looking for them distracts the Tripod long enough so that they can get away whereupon they run into:

Ozymandius, aka The Fake Vagrant.
The fake vagrant gives them a map.  He instructs them to head south and find Captain Curtis, another man with a fake cap.

Will has never seen a map before.
And tells them he won't be going with them as he needs to recruit more young boys.

Yah, maybe I don't want you coming with us.
The hunting party is nearby, led by Will's former BFF Jack.

Hey, Will did you a favor by getting you out of your cubicle for a day.
The fake vagrant causes a diversion so the boys can get away.

I'll take all of them on!
I'll stand in front of the horse!
And I'll DIE for my troubles.
Will and Henry make it to the beach.  Henry tells Will that the Tripods killed his parents.  How?

Will posing for Tiger Beat.
They reach the port and Henry wants to eat a fish until he smells it.

You're a real prize, Henry.
They explore the market by the docks and see a strange animal.

Let's draw attention to ourselves by asking pointless questions.
This exchange informs the audience that yes, a class system still exists even in zombieland.  This camel has been brought in by sea for the noble daughter's capping.
Joe Camel keepin' it real.
Will and Henry do the most sensible thing all day and go get a cold one.

They actually ordered pies instead of pints.  Way to rebel, guys.
The barmaid flirts with Will and he's flustered.  She offers to get them beer and they refuse.

This could've been the future Mrs. Parker, Will.
The boys are joined by other boys who also want them to get their drink on and as Will and Henry try to "escape" they are captured by a rival seaman!

Capping wipes out aggression?
Will and Henry are thrown in the cargo hold.  Out the window, they see Captain Curtis.  They scream for him, but will he find them in time?

Wah wah wahhh
